ERTH Corporation, a leading provider of electric metering and utility construction services, recently completed a renovation and expansion to its Accredited Meter Verification (AMV) facility in Ingersoll, Ontario.
The newly renovated facility features state-of-the-art equipment, expanded floor space, enhanced lighting and modern testing capabilities. The facility is designed to meet the highest industry standards and is accredited by Measurement Canada, the regulatory agency responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measuring devices used in trade in Canada.
Through efficient meter testing, calibration, and sealing, ERTH’s AMV division ensures the reliability and accuracy of energy usage data in compliance with Measurement Canada regulations.
“Smart metering technology is rapidly evolving, and the demand for accurate and reliable energy measurement will only grow with the increasing adoption of distributed energy resources, net metering, and electric vehicles,” said Chris White, President and CEO of ERTH Corporation. “The investment in our AMV program will allow ERTH to stay ahead of the curve and meet the needs of the present, as well as the future.”
The AMV program, which was established in 1999, is a critical component of ERTH’s comprehensive suite of services for Ontario utilities. ERTH is also the first registered Meter Service Provider (MSP #1001) in Ontario and has become a trusted partner for utilities and businesses across the province.
